Knowledge and skill make the great craftsman
Jakob is a dedicated welder with strong technical insight and a clear ambition to keep improving. He already has a wealth of experience behind him, both from competitions and everyday work, and his approach to the trade is focused and thoughtful. For Jakob, it’s not just about doing. It’s about understanding. “You have to be smart and have a lot of knowledge to be a great craftsman,” he says. Jakob is passionate about his craft. He enjoys diving into new techniques, pushing himself to improve, and setting new goals. His craftsmanship is guided by purpose, pride, and the constant drive to grow.

When he’s not training or preparing, Jakob spends time in his home workshop, creating practical solutions and personal gifts. Most recently, he built a shovel for a mini loader. He’s skilled with his hands, but it’s the thinking behind the work that truly drives him.
